Magnesium phosphoricum is considered a fuel for muscle activity and nerve function. It is involved in many processes controlled by the muscles – for example, the activity of the gastrointestinal tract or the rhythm of the heart.
Magnesium also plays a role in the functioning of the glands. Schuessler Salt No. 7 is recommended for the treatment of cramps, as a nerve remedy, and to strengthen the lymphatic system. Magnesium phosphoricum is therefore said to have an anti-stress effect, among other things.
According to Dr. Schüßler, sudden onset or cramp-like pain indicates a magnesium phosphoricum deficiency. Since this salt plays an important role in the transmission of nerve impulses, a deficiency can affect the arm, leg, or chewing muscles, as well as the gastrointestinal, cardiac, and vascular muscles.

- Racing heartbeat

Schüssler salt No. 7 is also said to influence the autonomic nervous system and is therefore recommended for the following symptoms:

- Frequent cravings for sweets

Dosing:
The recommended standard dosage is 3 x 1 tablet daily. Suck the tablet slowly. If symptoms improve, you can reduce the dosage. It's best to talk to your therapist about the best way to take it.
For acute pain and cramps, alternative practitioners often recommend the "Hot 7." To do this, dissolve seven to ten Schuessler Salt No. 7 tablets in briefly boiled, hot water and drink them in small sips after it has cooled. You can also drink the "Hot 7" in the evening before going to bed after a stressful day.
