Jarsin® 300mg is a herbal medicine for depressive mood swings and for mild, temporary depressive disorders (depressive Episodes).
Ingredients: 1 coated tablet contains 300 mg dry extract from St. John's wort (3 - 6:1) Extracting agent: methanol 80% (V / V)
Others: Highly disperse silicon dioxide, cellulose powder, Lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate (Ph. Eur.), Castor oil, hypromellose, macrogol 6000, sucrose, Glucose syrup, talc, titanium dioxide (E 171), Arabic gum, povidone K 25, iron (III) hydroxide oxide (E 172), bleached wax, carnauba wax.
Warnings:
To be used carefully in case of sensitivity to light; especially for fair-skinned people increased skin sensitivity to sunlight (photosensitization) might occur during the treatment; it is advised to avoid any kind of sunbathing or excessive exposure to sunlight.
Must not be used together with the Ciclosporin, Tacrolimus, Indinavir and other protease inhibitors
Must not be used in anti-HIV ("AIDS") treatment, irinotecan and other anti-cell growth drugs in cancer treatment
If you use anticoagulants (phenprocoumon, warfarin), theophylline, digoxin and other antidepressants seek the advice of your healthcare professional before taking the medicine.
Patients with impaired liver function seek the advice of your healthcare professional before taking the medicine
Intermenstrual bleeding may occur in women who are taking hormonal contraceptives and Jarsin® 300mg at the same time. About other possible side effects check with your healthcare professional before taking the product.

Recommended use:
Unless otherwise prescribed, adults and adolescents over 12 years take one coated tablet three times a day. Take the tablet with liquid (e.g. 1 glass of water) as a whole without chewing preferably with meals. Experience has shown that the duration of intake is 4–6 weeks until improvement of the symptoms will show.
